Biscuits, Whipped Topping and Corn Bread using Powdered Milk
Spaghetti

Biscuits

Preheat hoven to 425 degress. In large bowl, mix together...

...work into flour mixture with fork or pastry blender 1/3 cup shortening.
Stir in with fork 3/4 cup water.
Turn dough out on lightly floured board. Knead lightly . Cut with floured 2 inch cutter. Place on greased sheet .
Bake 12 minutes. Makes about 1 1/2 dozen

Whipped topping

Put in 1 quart bowl...
1/2 cup instant dry milk
Add 1/2 cup ice cold water
Beat with hand mixer at high speed until mixture stands in soft peaks, about 2 minutes.
Add 3 tablespoons lemon juice.
Beat in gradually 3 tablespoons sugar. Chill 30 minutes.


Corn bread

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Grease 9 inch square pan. Sift together in large bowl...

Pour batter into greased pan. Bake 20 minutes. Cut into 9 each 3-inch squares
