Whole Puffed Wheat
3 cups wheat
6 cups water
1 tsp. salt
Combine ingredients and either:
- Place in crock pot on low overnight, or
- Place wheat in thermos and cover with boiling water. Cap tightly
overnight, or
- Simmer slowly on the stove for about 1 hour, or
- Pressure cook for 40 minutes
Serve with your choice of:
 | Yougurt |
 | Milk |
 | Maple syrup |
 | Brown sugar |
 | Walnuts |
 | Sliced bananas or other fruits |
 | Dates |
 | Use in breads or pancakes as wheat kernels |
