Whole Puffed Wheat

3 cups wheat
6 cups water
1 tsp. salt

Combine ingredients and either:

  1. Place in crock pot on low overnight, or
  2. Place wheat in thermos and cover with boiling water. Cap tightly overnight, or
  3. Simmer slowly on the stove for about 1 hour, or
  4. Pressure cook for 40 minutes

Serve with your choice of:

bulletSliced bananas or other fruits
bulletDates
bulletUse in breads or pancakes as wheat kernels
