Ursula's Porridge With Flax Seed

This is a porridge I throw together for my children. I started with plain oats and then began adding other ingredients and this was the final result. (The following recipe feeds 1 adult and 3 young children). At the time my second child had severe eczema and I was pregnant with my third child and couldn't get out of bed in the morning because I was so tired. This hot breakfast cereal helped both.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1/4 cup millet
- 1/4 cup fine white barley
- 1/4 cup polenta
- 3 tablespoons flax seed (freshly ground)
- 1 tablespoon honeycomb
Method:
Add the above to about 3 cups of water. Boil until tender and serve.
