This is an advertisement for our new Yr2K booklet titled, "Year 2000 Computer Crisis AWARENESS."

AWARENESS is 8 1/2 X 11 inches, 32 pp., nice blue wrap-around cover with clip art picture on front of two dumbfounded folk staring at a computer screen that is displaying a large, fizzling, system-error "bomb" icon.

After trudging through perhaps 2,000 pages of news releases (mostly linked through GN's site), we took the "best of the best" media articles and other publications and gleaned the "lean and mean" meat from them, and then boiled it all down into a powerful, yet intensely readable booklet WHOSE TARGET AUDIENCE IS THE UNINFORMED AND UNINTERESTED PUBLIC.

This is THE resource to hand to friends and family who need to know, but who are virtually unapproachable due to their modernistic paradigms and candy-coated biases.

Fully documented and professionaly formated, in page after page it quotes authority after authority, study after study, warning of the full gamut of causes and ramifications of Yr2K failures. Also included is a COUNTDOWN CALENDAR of what infrastructure failures we can expect, and when. It then ends on an uplifting note of encouragement to get involved, and offers the IDEA of considering the need of preparing for the difficulties of the future.

As many of you are aware, we also have a 52 page booklet titled, CRASH which also deals with Yr2K. AWARENESS IS AN EXACT REPRODUCTION OF SECTION 1 OF CRASH (the section on Yr2K awareness, of course) but does NOT include any urban survival teachings, emergency checklists, or societal rebuilding info (as do sections 2 and 3 of CRASH). If you have CRASH, then don't buy AWARENESS for yourself--you've already got all the info, plus. Buy AWARENESS for that tender spouse or relative, the wise-guy next door, or those louts at work who hoot and snicker whenever you mention Yr2K. AWARENESS will gently and professionaly shock them into reality without overloading them with talk about eating sparrows and surviving by pioneer techniques and primitive barter after civilization collapses, as CRASH delves into.

If they become interested in survival considerations after reading AWARENESS, the back cover has a full page ad for CRASH, explaining that IT has everything AWARENESS does, plus gets down to the nitty gritty of how to stay alive and eventually prosper when the lights go out and the riots start.

Since this is a slightly smaller book than CRASH (which costs $10 for single copy) we are charging less for it. Instead, cost for 2 AWARENESS booklets is $10, with us paying postage. With us paying postage, we can't just send out 1 book for $5; the only way we can even break even is to have a minimum order of 2, for $10.

We can also send 5 for $20, or 6-99 for $4 each. Again, we always pay postage and handling, unless you are outside U.S., in which case please add 50%. Kansas residents please add 5.9% tax.
