Directions:
Spaghetti and Meatballs: Combine 1 envelope onion soup mix, 1/4 cup milk; let stand 5 minutes. Add 1 lb. ground beef and 1 beaten egg. Shape into 1 1/2 inch balls. In large skillet, brown meatballs in hot oil, drain. Return meatballs to skillet and stir in Pasta & Pizza Sauce Mix, bring to boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer over medium heat 15 minutes. While sauce is simmering, cook pasta as package directs, omitting salt; drain. Serve sauce and meatballs over pasta.
Pasta Sauce: Add 3 T Pasta & Pizza Sauce Mix to 8 oz. can of tomato sauce or 1 can (6 oz) of tomato paste, 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (optional), and 1 1/2 cups water. Stir well, bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer 10 - 20 minutes.
Microwave: Using microwave safe dish, follow above directions. For thicker sauce, use only 1 cup of water. Cover loosely. Microcook on high 6 - 8 minutes. Stir twice.
Pizza Sauce: Add 2 tablespoons of Pasta & Pizza Sauce Mix to 6 oz. tomato paste and 6 oz. water. Stir well, bring to boil, then simmer 10 - 20 minutes.
Meat Sauce: Brown 1/2 lb. hamburger or sausage, drain fat, add Pasta & Pizza Sauce Mix and water, stir well and simmer for 10 - 20 minutes. Cook pasta as package directs, omitting salt; drain.
Marinate: Mix 2 T Pasta & Pizza Sauce Mix with one can tomato paste (6 oz.) and 2 - 6 oz. cans water. Pour over pork chops, chicken, steaks, hamburger patties, etc. and bake as directed.
Pizza Burgers: Combine 2 tablespoons Pasta & Pizza Sauce Mix with one cup water, 1 1/2 cups catsup, 6 oz. tomato paste, 1 tsp prepared mustard, 2 T chopped onion, and 1 1/2 tsp. brown sugar. Mix well. Using 1 1/2 lbs ground beef, brown meat in skillet, drain and add sauce mixture, simmering uncovered for 1 hour. Serve on toasted sesame seed buns.
